IT Service & Support

Expertise applied to operations, so the school runs.

We start with an assessment: a review of your systems and conversations with faculty and staff about where day-to-day support falls short. We scope it with you in a first conversation, so you can decide what staffing and support your school needs before choosing an ongoing arrangement. How the assessment works

What it is

On-site technology staffing and management for schools. An assigned Edu-Tech professional works inside your school, backed by the full depth of the organization behind them.

How it works

Edu-Tech places experienced school technology staff on-site, scaled to a capacity that matches the school's needs. They run the day-to-day: infrastructure, networks, devices, help desk, vendor management, and budget planning. Behind every placement is the whole Edu-Tech team, specialists in networking, databases, and systems who step in when a need exceeds one person's expertise. Staffing flexes as needs change, without the cost and risk of a direct hire.

  1. 1

An assigned professional works inside your school on a schedule scaled to your needs: a day a week, a few days, or full time.

  2. 2

They carry infrastructure, networks, devices, help desk, vendor coordination, and technology budget planning.

  3. 3

Specialists in networking, systems, and databases step in from the wider team whenever a need exceeds one person.

  4. 4

The engagement flexes with enrollment, staffing, and budget, without the cost and risk of a direct hire.

Who it's for

Schools that need dependable technology operations but can't justify, or can't find, the full-time expertise it demands. Especially schools that have been burned by a single hire leaving, or by an outsourced IT firm that treats them like a ticket queue.

From partner schools

Brief stories from schools we've worked alongside.

Embedded IT department

Working as part of the school's IT department

Delaware Valley Friends School

Delaware Valley Friends School is our longest-standing partnership. Our embedded team functions as the school's IT department: it carries technical support, network operations, and classroom technology while collaborating directly with teachers.

Embedded staffing

Part of the school, not outside consultants

Upland Country Day School

At Upland Country Day, embedded Edu-Tech staff handle technology leadership and support from inside the community. They are present in hallways and classrooms, not on the other end of a ticket queue.

"Integral members of the school rather than outside consultants." Head of School, Upland Country Day School

Common questions

"We already have someone handling our technology."
One person can't cover what a school's technology now demands: operations, security, classroom, and planning. When that person leaves, everything they knew leaves with them. Edu-Tech doesn't replace a good person; it backs them, or becomes them, with a full team, so the school is never one resignation away from starting over.
"We can't afford it."
Compare it against the true cost of the alternative: salary, benefits, taxes, training, and turnover for a hire the school still has to manage, or the cost of a provider who doesn't know schools. Edu-Tech scopes to what the school actually needs and flexes the engagement as budgets shift. For cybersecurity, the question isn't whether the school can afford protection; it's whether it can afford a denied claim.
"We've been burned by outside providers before."
Most providers serve every industry and learn schools on the school's dime. Edu-Tech has only ever supported schools, and the model puts a named person in your building. Trust is earned through background checks, reputation, and being in the building, not claimed in a proposal.
"We're not sure we need all of this."
Maybe not. Edu-Tech doesn't sell from a standard menu. We start with an assessment to get an honest baseline of where the school stands across infrastructure, security, support, and classroom use. What comes next is shaped by what we find, scaled to what the school requires, and nothing more. The assessment is the commitment; everything after is a decision made with better information.
