Edu-Tech also provides technology support, consulting, staffing, cybersecurity-readiness, and related services to schools. In providing those services, we may process information on behalf of a partner school. Information processed on behalf of a school is governed by our agreement with that school, the school’s instructions and policies, and applicable law. It is not governed solely by this public website Privacy Policy.

When you submit a contact or inquiry form, we use the information you provide to review and respond to your request. Submission of a form does not automatically enroll you in marketing email or promotional text messages unless the form clearly states otherwise and you make the applicable choice.
Information submitted through a Google form may be processed and stored using Google’s services as well as Edu-Tech’s internal business systems.
6. Text Messaging
Edu-Tech uses text messaging on a limited basis for individual, service-related communications with clients and professional contacts. We do not currently conduct mass SMS marketing campaigns.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Consent to receive service-related texts does not constitute consent to receive marketing or promotional texts.

Message frequency varies according to the nature of the communication and your service needs. Edu-Tech does not send text messages on a fixed or recurring schedule.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of direct marketing communications from us at any time by:

Replying STOP to text messages. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out request.

Opting out of text messaging will not prevent Edu-Tech from contacting you by email or telephone when necessary to provide requested or contracted services.
Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text-message originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.
Edu-Tech does not sell or rent mobile telephone numbers or text-message consent information.

Edu-Tech may respond by email when you contact us or when email is necessary to provide requested or contracted services.
If you voluntarily subscribe to receive newsletters, downloadable resources, announcements, or other marketing communications, we may use your name, email address, organization, and communication preferences for those purposes.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending service-related or transactional messages, such as responses to inquiries or communications concerning an existing client relationship.
We may use an email service provider to manage subscriber lists and deliver email. Such providers may process subscriber information on our behalf and may not use it for their own independent marketing purposes.

Our public website is intended for school leaders, educators, technology professionals, prospective employees, vendors, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.
If we learn that a child submitted personal information through the public website without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
This section does not describe information Edu-Tech may process on behalf of a partner school while providing contracted services. In those circumstances, Edu-Tech processes information under the school’s direction and applicable agreements, policies, and laws.

Edu-Tech does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third-party websites.
