Distance Learning and Work from Home Support

2020 has been quite the year, and we aren't out of the clear yet with the ongoing pandemic. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, many schools may have to shift to 100% remote instruction within a moment's notice. We want to take this opportunity to address some of the concerns of the PAISBOA/ADVIS community after several schools contacted us to ask how Edu-Tech could help them maintain both academic and business continuity in the event of a school shutdown. 

For those of you that are already Edu-Tech partner schools, rest assured that your assigned technology support staff from Edu-Tech or your assigned Edu-Tech instructional technology coach will continue to provide ongoing support for your distance learning efforts. In addition, other members of our staff will be available to provide remote support as well. For many of you, our team members have already helped you develop and frame your school’s remote instructional model. This framework includes support that will continue as long as it is needed, at no additional cost. As a current partner school, your faculty and staff will simply follow the same protocols you use today by submitting a support ticket via email.

For all schools that are not Edu-Tech partner schools, we are here for you as well! In an effort to help provide support to ALL PAISBOA/ADVIS member schools, we available to provide each of you with the same level of remote technical support and academic technology coaching we provide to our partner schools through our Edu-Tech Virtual Help Desk (EVHD). This support is as simple as submitting an email to support@edu-tech.com. Emails can be sent to this address 24 hours per day and will be placed into a queue that is continually monitored and addressed by Edu-Tech support team members from 7am to 7pm daily. All support requests will be answered in the order in which they are received; updates are provided to the sender at regular intervals as support is provided to help reach a positive resolution.  Messages sent to this email can include all basic troubleshooting and support needs for Mac and Windows PC laptops/tablets, iPads, Chromebooks, Google Apps, Google Hangouts Meet, and more.
